Journey of Life
Hello everybody! Welcome to my blog. It is my great privilege to see you guys here and reading my blog. I'm writing this blog owing to recording journey of my life; sharing you what are the challenges which I have encountered with. Some parts of my life is the same to others; some are completely different.
My name is Panha, and I am a countryside boy living at Preythom village, Pich Sar, commune, Koh Andet district, Takeo province, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. In my family there are four members, my farther (CHENG Van), my mother (NHEM Port), my oldest brother (YANN Ty), and I. I was born on Friday night August 24, 1994 during Pchum Ben Festival. Since my parents are farmers, my life has to face with my obstacles. I am to work, live, and try hardly due to helping my parents. Even my life has faced with many problems, I still love and enjoy my life with my parents and other relatives. They gave me a birth, educated me, fed me up, and did eveything for me.
When I was a-5-year boy, in 1999, I started my first class at Sok An Primary School. It was not such my first grade, and I was not old enough to attend the school. My parents sent me to school because they did not want me to waste time at home, though. I did enjoyed my pre-school class since I met many new friends and could have funny time with them. Eveything had changed in the second week. I was trying to escape from school; sometimes I did not attend the class. That information was sent to my parents, then they were shocked. Since they were kind people, they tried to persuade me how imortant the education was. I realized that I was wrong, and I promised them not to let this happen again my life.

In 2005, I finished my primary school, but I was not so smart and really poor in English. I continued to secondary school, Sok An Prey Thom Secondary School, which is located in the same area. During that period I was a small boy when I looked at other classmates, yet I was joyful with them since they were friendly.
Education in secondary school made me faced with several difficulties. I was supposed to take many subjects which I had ever met in primary school. Also, I needed to take much more money for my study which made my parents had more difficulties. I continued walking to school for three years again. However, I was not my barrier for my life. I did enjoyed with my life since my parents could send me to school like other people in the village, and sometimes I felt really lucky since my family were poor but they were able to send me to school. The final year of secondary school came into my life, then I needed to take an examination, Diploma, in order to continue to high school. The result released and I got good grade, C, for my study. I was really happy with that as my friends got lower grade than me.
December 5th, 2009, I faced a new challenge which was going to high school. The school was so far from my house where I could not walk to school as secondary school. It took me around 30 minutes from my house to school (more than 6 kilometers long). Therefore, my parents forced their minds to buy me a bike even they had no money. They sold some rice owing to buy a bike which costed around 150, 000 riels (40 dollars). This showed that they were really great with their children.
In late 2011, I graduated my high school and then I got a scholarship to continue my

bachelor degree in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Before getting into academic program, I was supposed to take a full time English program called Intensive English for Academic Purposes (IEAP)for almost two years since my English was really poor. During that time, it was really hard for me to catch up my second language with new living environment and feeling homesick. However, that was not the major problem since I kept working hard with my study.
Currently, I am a year 4student majoring Business Administration at at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC), Phnom Penh, Cambodia. There are several challenges for me now. I gotta work full time to get paid and responsible on my brother's school fee and other expenses; however, I won't give it up and and I will let my parents' dreams come true.
Regarding to my work experiences, I have been going through many experiences including volunteering. Some people thought that my job was not really good since it was one of the lowest paid and embarrassing job. I didn't care about what their thoughts were, though. I just knew that my job was not against the law, and I could get a clean money by my hand and supported my daily live.
My first job was a security guard in one company which I could earn just a little of money to support my live. It was really hard for me since I sometimes supposed to work in many different shifts. Three months later in July 2012, I was promoted to be a Supervisor to manage other staffs. That was a big price for me that I just had my first interviewing and I could kick 42 candidates off. I continued working there for almost two years as a supervisor then later on I changed to a new job. From November 2014 to February 2015, I was a Data Collector at National Social Security Fund (NSSF), Phnom Penh, Cambodia. With NSSF, I just worked under a short contract for only three months then I finished.

Another movement is I was a Concierge at ANZ Royal Bank. That was really wonderful moment for me since I could learn with many new challenges with new things. The working environment, people, and many other things were really good. However, thing had changed. In June 28, 2016, I quieted that job since I needed to look for more improvement. I got a new job, yet still in banking industry. Currently, from July 01, 2016 till now, I am working as a Client Service Advisor at Advanced Bank of Asia Limited (ABA Bank), one of the local bank in Cambodia. I really like this such of job as it is one of the great plate form for me to show up my technical skills, knowledge, and new improvement too. I'm going to cheer up my life by getting from step to step forwarding to my dream.
